  1. Open the box.
  2. Open the sterile blister pack.
  3. Combine the holder and the blood collection needle.
  4. Apply the blood collection needle to the cleaned venipuncture site on the patient’s arm.
  5. Place the REIN PRP tube into the holder attached to the needle (Routine Phlebotomy).
  6. Allow the vacuum tube to draw blood until flow stops.
  7. Repeat for the second tube without removing the needle from the vein.
  8. Place both tubes in a compatible centrifuge.
  9. Attach the 18G needle to the 5ml Luer-lok syringe.
  10. Carefully insert the 18G needle into the PRP tube (maintain sterility – do not open cap unless under Laminar Flow).
  11. Aspirate the PRP layer above the red blood cell (RBC) layer.
  12. Collect approximately 2ml of PRP from each tube into the 5ml syringe (total 4ml).
  13. Gently shake the syringe for 60 seconds to homogenize plasma.
  14. Attach the desired application needle (e.g., 21G) to the syringe.
  15. Apply to the patient via injection method.

Note: Always adhere to sterile techniques and institutional protocols.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do REIN PRP tubes compare to Regenlab or T-Lab tubes?

REIN PRP tubes are CE Class IIB certified and utilise high-grade 3.13% Sodium Citrate in an ISO Class 8 cleanroom facility. Unlike some systems (like Regenlab often using gel), REIN tubes are typically gel-free, potentially reducing contamination risk. We focus on providing a high-quality, reliable, and validated system for clinical PRP preparation.

However, always validate settings based on your specific centrifuge model and desired PRP characteristics. Consult your centrifuge manual or our technical support.

Yes, REIN PRP Tubes are certified CE Class IIB by Notified Body (2195), adhering to the EU Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC. We maintain rigorous quality control and validation.

REIN PRP Tubes have a 24-month shelf life from the date of manufacture when stored correctly. Check the expiry date on the packaging.

Each 10ml REIN PRP Tube contains 1ml of 3.13% Ph. Eur. Sodium Citrate solution for effective anticoagulation.

Yield depends on patient factors and protocol, but REIN tubes are designed to achieve a 4-6 times concentration of platelets compared to baseline whole blood, providing potent PRP for therapeutic use.

REIN PRP Tubes fit standard 10ml tube holders in most medical centrifuges. We recommend using a centrifuge with compatible buckets/adapters and verifying fit. Contact us if you have compatibility questions.
