Tixel® Treatment London

Tixel® Skin Resurfacing London | Non-Laser Collagen Remodelling | Minimal Downtime

From £300 per session

There are devices that resurface the skin – and then there is Tixel®.

Unlike lasers that burn or light-based systems that scatter energy, Tixel® uses pure thermal contact through a grid of titanium tips, producing controlled micro-injuries that remodel collagen, refine texture, and tighten skin – without light, smoke, or prolonged recovery.

At Dr Hans Clinics, Tixel® is not just another device. It’s the backbone of our evidence-based rejuvenation philosophy: real collagen stimulation, genuine renewal, and safety for every skin type, including darker and sensitive complexions.

Patients choose Tixel® because it delivers visible improvement in texture, fine lines, and laxity – the kind of refreshed, healthy glow you can’t fake with filler or filters.

HOW TIXEL® WORKS

Tixel® uses Thermo-Mechanical Ablation (TMA®)

A titanium plate heated to around 400 °C briefly touches the skin for a few milliseconds, transferring a precise dose of thermal energy deep into the dermis.

This micro-stimulation triggers :

● Collagen remodelling – the framework that gives skin its strength.

● Elastin activation – restoring bounce and resilience.

● Epidermal renewal – smoother texture, refined pores, and improved luminosity.

● Trans-epidermal delivery – the micro-channels enhance absorption of regenerative serums such as PRF, Biofiller, polynucleotides, or growth factors.

Because there is no light energy, the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation is minimal, making it safe for Fitzpatrick I-VI and delicate areas like the eyelids.

WHO IT’S FOR

● People seeking visible rejuvenation without injectables or laser downtime.

● Those wanting a non-surgical blepharoplasty or safe periorbital tightening.

● Anyone with crepey texture, fine lines, enlarged pores, or early laxity.

● Patients with pigmentation, acne scarring, or post-inflammatory marks.

● Individuals who want real change, not exaggeration – scientifically backed, biologically stimulated, and authentically theirs.

Tixel® suits men and women who want to look fresh, not “done.”

THE SCIENCE & RESULTS

Clinical studies confirm measurable structural change rather than surface illusion:
Parameter Improvement Reference
Dermal density & collagen organisation
↑ 35 – 45 % after 3 sessions
Waibel JS et al., Lasers Surg Med 2017
Wrinkle depth & crepiness
↓ 30 – 40 %
El-Domyati M 2019
Pigment uniformity
Marked brightening after 2 – 3 sessions
Ramos E 2020
Safety in darker skin
No PIH or scarring reported
Multiple clinical series
Collagen and elastin remodelling continue for up to 3 months after each session. Results are progressive and natural – skin feels tighter, smoother, more refined, not “over-treated.”

FAQ'S

Is Tixel® the same as laser resurfacing?

No – Tixel® uses thermo-mechanical energy, not laser light. It transfers controlled heat through a titanium tip, creating microscopic channels that stimulate collagen without the light-based risks of lasers.

That means it’s suitable for a wider range of skin tones and requires no formal laser licence.

Common treatment zones include the face, neck, décolletage, eyelids, and even delicate periorbital skin for a non-surgical blepharoplasty effect.

It can also target body areas prone to laxity, texture change, or scarring (e.g. abdomen, arms, or knees).

Most people benefit from 3 – 4 sessions, spaced around 4–6 weeks apart, followed by a maintenance session every 6 – 12 months.

Your exact plan depends on your baseline skin quality, recovery time, and expectations discussed at consultation.

It’s generally well-tolerated. We use topical numbing and device-controlled pulse settings to minimise discomfort.

You’ll feel brief heat and pressure rather than sharp pain – most patients describe it as “quick warmth”.

Expect mild redness or warmth for 24-48 hours.

Unlike laser, there’s no peeling or crusting, and makeup can usually be applied the next day.

SPF and barrier cream are mandatory for at least a week post-treatment.

Yes – many patients pair Tixel® with PRF Biofiller, Sunekos, or growth factor serums for synergy in collagen remodelling.

We only combine when evidence supports additional value and tailor based on skin biology, not marketing bundles.

Yes. Unlike laser devices, Tixel® is non-chromophore-dependent – meaning it doesn’t target pigment.

It’s therefore suitable for Fitzpatrick III-V, though parameters are adjusted to reduce post-inflammatory risk.

You’ll notice smoother, tighter skin within 2-3 weeks, with continued collagen remodelling for up to 3-6 months.
Results vary by age, genetics, and maintenance routine – improvements are gradual and natural-looking.

Tixel® has FDA and CE approval for periorbital rejuvenation, including eyelid tightening and non-surgical blepharoplasty.

Treatments are performed with protective ocular shields under strict protocols.

  • RF microneedling works via electrical current; Tixel® uses direct heat.
  • CO₂ laser ablates surface tissue; Tixel® doesn’t break the epidermal barrier to the same depth.
  • Tixel® sits in between – offering visible texture improvement with faster healing and lower risk of pigmentation.
We don’t advertise or treat medical conditions. Tixel® is offered for cosmetic skin texture and quality enhancement only, not for disease treatment.
Anyone seeking natural, evidence-based rejuvenation without injectables or synthetic fillers – particularly those focused on texture, tone, and firmness improvement through energy-based stimulation.
