What is Tixel®?

Tixel® is a non‑laser, non‑RF fractional resurfacing system that uses a heated titanium tip to create precise microchannels (thermo‑mechanical energy). This triggers your skin’s own healing cascade to build collagen and elastin, improving texture, tone, lines, scars and laxity—with typically shorter downtime than light‑based lasers.

At Dr Hans Clinics we use the latest‑generation device: Tixel 2 (not older, outdated models) for more consistent energy delivery, precision, and comfort.

Indications & conditions we treat with Tixel 2

● Texture & tone: roughness, enlarged pores, dullness

● Fine lines & wrinkles: perioral, periocular, forehead

● Periorbital rejuvenation: eyelids/under‑eyes (no laser eye shields needed)

● Acne scarring & surgical scars

● Neck & décolletage crepiness

● Pigment irregularity / sun damage (careful protocols)

● Stretch marks & body skin laxity (abdomen, arms, above knees)

Skin of colour: Because Tixel is non‑laser (thermal contact, not light), it can be used across Fitzpatrick I–VI with conservative settings and staged protocols, reducing the risk of post‑inflammatory pigmentation compared with many lasers.
